Day 8

Weight Today: 137 lbs.

Breakfast: nothing
Snack: nothing
Lunch: tuna sandwich, cup of water
Snack: nothing
Dinner: chicken alfredo, cup of water

Workout: none

Goodness, I forgot to post my saved entry, I was so out of it. I felt so lazy. And then I couldn't sleep last night since I didn't do any yoga before bedtime. I noticed that I sleep so much more comfortably after doing some yoga, and I can feel my body sinking into the uncomfortable bed, which makes it relaxing because my body is relaxed.

So yoga before bedtime every night, so I can get a good nights rest!

Day 6

Dinner: scrambled eggs & slice of whole wheat bread w/ butter

Workout: 10 minute stretches, 30 minute yoga

Today was a rather slow and long day for me.

Day 5

Breakfast: 10 animal crackers, cup of water
Snack: none
Lunch: Philly cheese steak & fries, cup of water
Snack: cashews, grapes, cup of water
Dinner: 1/4 cup rice, bratwurst, green beans

Workout: 10 minute power-walk, 10 minute stretches, 15 minute yoga

I'm giving up on the whole "veggie & fruits only" diet. I'm eating differently though, it use to be large plates of this and that, and I use to stuff everything in my mouth so fast. I learned to eat slowly, and drink a cup of water afterward, rather then drinking while eating at the same time. I can't give up my meat! I need meat, and some rice. So the whole detox yoga diet isn't for me, but I like the yoga workout. Anyways, early morning tomorrow. So good night.

Day 4

Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: Vermicelli (Japanese thin noodles) w/ green leaf lettuce
Snack: Cashews, cup of juice
Dinner: slice of veggie pizza, cup of juice
Snack: cup of 2% milk

Workout: none

I was feeling really lazy today so I didn't workout, I'll probably do some stretches before I sleep. I notice that every time I'm in the bathroom, I'm tempted to weigh myself, and at the same time scared to! I don't want to know if I gained or lost weight. I prefer if people just told me that I looked like I lost weight. Because I guess it doesn't matter how much I weigh, it just matters if I've gotten slimmer.

I'm not trying to say that there's something wrong being big. Girls who are big, are actually very pretty inside and out, well most of them, just like thin girls. But being big isn't for me, my body is out of proportion, like my chest is slim, and then my tummy area bulges out, and then my legs are slim. So basically I have a muffin top, which throws my outfits out of proportion.

Had a crazy workout today, I was sweating more then I did the other two days. But it felt great!

Lunch: Charley's steak sub w/ fries and a cup of water
Snack: String cheese, cup of grapes
Dinner: pepperoni pizza, cup of juice

Workout: 10 minute stretches, 10 minute yoga

I'm ashamed of myself. I let temptation get the best of me and had Charley's steak sub and pizza. I hope I can do this ... :(

Day 1

Breakfast: cup of water and baked chips
Snack: String cheese
Lunch: Giada's Grilled Chicken and Avocado Napoleons (actually had it without avocado)
Snack: cup of grapes, 1/4 cup of cashews, cup of water
Dinner: nothing

Workout: 15 minutes pilates, 15 minutes yoga, 10 minute stretches

Ah! I know I said no meat. But I saw Giada's video on FoodNetwork and I had to try this light healthy sandwich, and it was delicious! I actually forgot the avocado when I went grocery shopping. I know, I only ate an entree today. I normally eat one entree every day and then snack a bit here and there. I don't know why, but that's just how I am. I'm replacing my cookies, ice cream, and chips with string cheese, fruits, and nuts. Little workout today, I wish I had a treadmill, I love jogging. Well off to bed for me. Good night!

Setting my goals ...

Weight Now: 138 lbs
Ideal Weight: 110 lbs
Goal: lose 28 lbs

I've decided to take up yoga, and add some pilates workout in there with my exercise ball. So no more soda, alcohol, meats, rice, and pasta. I'm going to try eating like a vegetarian, I'm not saying I'm going to be one, because I know it'll be hard for me. I need my chicken! I'll be eating more vegetables and lots of fruits. I know its going to be tough for the first week or so, they say I should just cut down slowly, but I know myself. I'll just end up eating the same way. Its like how I quit smoking, I went cold turkey, sure I crave for a cigarette or two but I have gum to keep my cravings down. So I'll have to go "cold turkey" about the soda, alcohol, meats, rice, and pasta. And just stuff myself with vegetables and fruits. Well, I'll keep every one updated on my food intake for the day, and every Friday morning I'll weigh myself.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
